Day 1: Arrival in Paro Transfer to Punakha
Arrive at Paro International Airport where your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Punakha Valley. Cross the stunning Dochula Pass with panoramic views of the Himalayas. Settle into your riverside camp or lodge by evening and enjoy a relaxed bonfire dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Rafting Pho Chhu Rapids (Class II–IV)
Gear up for an adrenaline-packed rafting session on the Pho Chhu River. Tackle Class II–IV rapids surrounded by lush forests and suspension bridges. Midway, stop for riverbank snacks and birdwatching. Wrap up with a warm local lunch and enjoy free time or optional kayaking.
Day 3: Canyoning in Punakha Gorge
Today’s adventure takes you deep into a hidden Punakha gorge, where you’ll rappel down waterfalls, leap into natural pools, and navigate slippery rock slides. With expert guides and safety equipment, this canyoning experience balances adrenaline with untouched nature. Return for a relaxing herbal bath and traditional dinner.
Day 4: Cultural Interlude Punakha Dzong & Village Walk
Shift gears and dive into the cultural side of Punakha. Explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful architectural marvels, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. In the afternoon, enjoy a village walk and tea at a traditional farmhouse.
Day 5: Riverside Camping & Sunset Hike
