Day 2: Drive to Chaling & Trek to Merak Village

Begin your off the grid adventure with a scenic drive to Chaling. From here, your trek starts  winding through pine forests and meadows until you reach Merak, home to the Brokpa people. Evening cultural exchange and warm yak butter tea by the hearth. Overnight in a family homestay or camp.

Day 3: Cultural Immersion in Merak

Day 4: Trek to Sakteng Into the Realm of the Yeti

Trek over the Nyakchung La Pass (4,100m) into the hidden valley of Sakteng, believed to be the habitat of the mystical Migoi (Yeti). This is Bhutan’s only conservation area specifically created for a mythical creature. Overnight at a rustic camp near the sanctuary.

Join a local ceremony or festival (depending on timing), and enjoy a traditional Brokpa meal prepared by village women. Participate in a symbolic farewell circle a rare cultural exchange few have experienced.
